Rental Q&A
What's the minimum period for renting a tent?
The minimum rental period is 2 days, perfect for weekend overnighter.
You always get 1 free additional day to send the tent back.
What's the maximum period for renting a tent?
There is no maximum period but if your travel for a month it is cheaper to buy.
Can I buy the tent afterwards?
Yes, you can! You will receive a voucher for your rental amount, which you can use to purchase a brand new tent.
How do you deliver the tents?
We use DHL as our delivery partner of choice to ensure timely and secure delivery of your tent.
Can I pick the tent up?
You can pick the tents up in Stuttgart or Munich!
Do I have to clean the tent before returning?
The tent does not have to be as clean as new.
Please remove any large stains & mud before returning it and make sure that the tent is dry when you pack it.
In which countrys is the rental availible?
We currently offer our rental service exclusively to 🇪🇺 EU countries!
Switzerland and UK are excluded.

The Wisp accommodates up to two people and their bikepacking gear. All you need is your bicycle to pitch and set it up.
Due to its modular design, Wisp adapts to your needs. You can clip in either one or two inner tents, or use it with a groundsheet to reduce weight even further. The inner tents offer great comfort, with a raised protective tub to keep you dry and a lightweight mesh to protect against mosquitoes and other insects.
When packed, the roughly burrito-sized bag fits comfortably in any bikepacking bag or can be attached easily to your bike.

Which bicycles is the tent compatible with?
Our tents are designed to adapt to different bike sizes.We designed the tents targeting gravel and road bike geometry.All our tents were tested with drop-bar bikes of different manufacturers in frame sizes S (~53cm seat tube) to XL (~61cm seat tube).While our tents also work with mountain bikes (we tested with 27.5" wheels and 2.8" tires), the wide handlebars can get in the way when lying down..
Can the bicycle tip over?
Once the tent pegs are in the ground, the bike is held firmly in place by the tent.
Is it possible to pitch the tent without a bicycle?
Yes you can use the tents without a bike!While our tents are not freestanding, we included various attachment points to make it easy to set them up however you like.The easiest is to either use hiking poles or simply pitch the tent between two trees with a cord.
What does the tent weight?
The innertent weights 460g and the outer tent around 450g.
Is the tent rainproof?
The outer tent is designed to withstand up to 4000mm of water pressure, while the inner tent floor can handle up to 6000mm of water pressure, ensuring robust protection against rain.
What are the dimensions and specifications of the tent?
The outer tent measures 250cm by 220cm, with each inner tent measuring 230cm by 90cm, and the usable width of the floor area varies depending on the bicycle size, with a minimal usable width of around 80cm when accommodating an XS bike.
